Solar Panel Cleaning Services

Description and Process

This specialized cleaning method is the gold standard for maintaining solar panel efficiency. The core of the system is the use of pure water, which has been aggressively demineralised and filtered (through reverse osmosis and deionisation) to a near-zero total dissolved solids (TDS) measurement. This purified water is then pumped up lightweight, extendable poles, reaching panels safely from the ground without the need for ladders or heavy machinery.

The process involves:

  1. Pure Water Application: The highly purified water is sprayed onto the solar panels. Because it contains no minerals, it acts like a magnet, aggressively dissolving and lifting away contaminants such as dust, pollen, bird droppings, lichen, and general environmental grime.
  2. Gentle Scrubbing: A soft, non-abrasive brush attached to the end of the pole is used to gently agitate and loosen stubborn dirt without scratching the delicate panel surface.
  3. Residue-Free Rinse: The pure water is used for a final rinse. Since there are no minerals in the water, it evaporates completely without leaving behind any spotting, streaking, or chalky residue—unlike tap water, which contains minerals that would quickly re-attract dirt.

Sparkling Results:

The result of the Water Fed Pole System is a truly sparkling clean and pristine solar panel array. This immaculate finish isn’t just cosmetic, it directly translates to:

  • Maximised Energy Yield: By eliminating the layer of grime that blocks sunlight, the panels can absorb the maximum amount of solar radiation, ensuring your system operates at peak efficiency and generates the highest possible electricity output.
  • Streak-Free Clarity: The pure water rinse ensures a perfect, uniform clean, leaving the glass surface completely clear and free of water marks or streaks that would otherwise interfere with light transmission.
  • Enhanced Longevity: Regular, gentle cleaning with pure water prevents abrasive buildup and maintains the structural integrity of the panel glass over its lifespan.
